While out shooting the Neowise comet, a very large meteor was captured as it burned through the atmosphere above me.
This image is published in the University of Calgary's Astro Club newsletter as well as in a publication by The International Meteor Organization and The American Meteor Society.
This image was also used by the University to track the meteor and figure out trajectory, size and destination.
